Q: Do I need to make a reservation?

A: There is no need to make a reservation for Trail Riding. The only time that we would like you to make a reservation for groups of 10 or more. Click here for Group Rates and Info.

Q: Do you offer horseback riding lessons?

A: No. We do not offer riding lessons at this time. We do believe that riders can greatly improve through their own experiences in the saddle and encourage people interested in taking lessons to try out our facility.

Q: Do we have to ride with a guide?

A: Not necessarily. Our Trail Riding operation is what we consider "semi-guided." We want you to enjoy the freedom horseback riding in our large area of riding space, while at the same time ensuring you are safe and happy. We have experienced staff members will be in the vicinity, but they will not be with you the entire time (unless you need our help).

Q: Do we ride in a straight line while on the trails?

A: Though you are not required to ride in a straight line anywhere, many of the trails on our property require you to ride in a line. You will not be required, however, to ride with another group other than your own.

Q: What kind of options are there for my child?

A: Children need to be 8 years old to participate in Trail Riding. Child Pony Leads are no longer being offered at our facility.

Q: How old do you have to be to ride?

A: Riders must be at least 8 years of age to ride by themselves.

Q: Can my child ride on the same horse as me?

A: No. We do not allow more than one rider per horse.

Q: Do I have to wear a helmet?

A: No. Though recommended, riders are not required to wear a helmet. Riders choosing not to wear helmets must sign the helmet waiver prior to riding.

Q: What kind of horses do you have?

A: All kinds. We have horses of most breeds, shapes, sizes, and degrees of difficulty. Upon arriving we will pick a horse that matches your riding ability.

Q: What kind of saddle do you use?

A: Western Saddles and tack. We do not use English style tack for our trail riding.

Q: Do you have English riding available?

A: No. At this time we only offer Western style riding.

A: No. We do not sponsor overnite events. We do offer a Moonlite Riding Program. Click Here for Details.
